The MAX Series digital unit provides the functions required for an operation in one device: functional cutting (Pure Cut, Blend 1, Blend 2, Blend 3), coagulation (Spray and Contact Coagulation) and bipolar coagulation (Bipolar Cut, Hand Bipolar, Foot Bipolar). Three display windows show the output values for cutting, coagulation and bipolar as digits.
The unit is available in three power variants, MAX-400, MAX-300 and MAX-200. Output values differ by variant; see the specification table.

- 02REM (Return Electrode Monitoring)If the contact area between patient and pad is inappropriate, an alarm sounds and the high-frequency output is blocked.
- 03Distinct operating soundsCutting, coagulation and bipolar coagulation each have their own sound and indicator lamp.
- 04Remote control and foot switchTwin-button handles select cutting or coagulation; a foot switch is available for cutting and coagulating.
- 05Hand bipolar (auto bipolar)Activated by contact of the forceps.
- 06Memory and settings10 user storages; the selected outputs are displayed again after power-on; holding a mode button for more than 3 seconds changes the step to 1 W.
